Health Care is a Human Right

Many migrant families, however, are unable to access free or state-subsidized healthcare. For families in the Sangkhlaburi border region, the lack of affordable healthcare means even minor illnesses can lead to overwhelming medical debt and years of financial hardship.

In just 2024, the COF medical clinic treated 1,450 cases. This included treating children, supporting preganancies, delivering babies, and treating serious and other cases.

Beyond meeting the immediate needs of migrant mothers and their children though, COF's Healthcare Programme also provides access to a wider safety net of support through holistic care.

We're breaking cycles of disadvantage with holistic healthcare.
