COF Team

Children of the Forest is supported by a dedicated team of around 60 full and part-time staff who work together to provide safety, education, and opportunity to stateless and migrant children along the border.
Many of our team members speak the local Karen, Mon, and Burmese languages, ensuring deep cultural understanding and connection with the communities we serve. Over half of our staff are former COF students—young adults who have returned to their hometown area, empowered by their own journey and determined to help others navigate the same challenges they once faced. Their commitment and compassion lie at the heart of everything we do.

Our Organizational Structure

As part of our governance framework, we are overseen by a board of trustees comprising six members. The board meets bi-annually. All board changes are approved and certified by The Thai Department of Social Welfare and Human Security.

Our Executive Team leads the COF Foundation Management Committee, which directs COF programs and services.
