The Borderland’s program is a hub for the many creative activities that make up an important part of the education and development of the children we work with. Activities here include art, comics, film making, sewing and crafts.
Art classes in drawing, painting and comic illustration are taught by our talented and qualified resident art teacher, Andy Zeal.

Andy has also had considerable experience as an organic farmer. This combined with his artistic ability and keen interest in helping preserve local culture has seen Andy play an important role in developing COF’s Farm to School program which includes an exciting art component.
Borderlands provides a safe, supportive program for children and teens from COF to creatively explore and express both themselves and the world around them. For some of the very talented artists among them, art and its related skills can lead on to future careers.
