During the final year of her degree in social work Aom not only excelled in her studies but also became a leader and spokesperson for the university student body. She organized and led various student outreach initiatives through out the country, from the Bangkok slums to the conflict zones of the south. After graduating she has quickly found a position working with children in the Bangkok slums. After 1 or 2 years gaining further experience Aom plans to return to the border region to work with the stateless communities she grew up in.
